LINFA™ is our Brazilian–Canadian lymphatic drainage method.
Rooted in nervous system regulation first, LINFA™ prioritizes safety, tissue integrity, and long-term metabolic health over intensity or short-term aesthetic results. It integrates Brazilian flow and precision with a clinical, anatomy-based lens and trauma-informed pacing.
This is method-based work — not trend-based technique.

Preferred Student Hotel Rate
Students attending Toronto Lymphatic Academy programs may be eligible for a preferred student rate at Hotel Victoria, our in-person training venue.
This rate offers students access to preferred pricing compared to publicly available rates at the time of booking. As hotel pricing fluctuates based on season, demand, and availability, nightly rates are variable and cannot be guaranteed.

Yes! Although you will need to practice on roughly 3 people before confidently using this style of massage, you can in essence use it as soon as you complete the training.

No, you don’t need to be an RMT. However, to get the most out of the training, we do recommend having a background in some education on anatomy and physiology.
We teach the medical side of lymphatic drainage and use technical language that might be difficult to follow without prior training.

If you are not an RMT you will not be permitted to have your massages claimed via insurance.
However, if you do have a designation that allows for insurance billing, such as an acupuncturist, and you do some lymphatic massage in your hybrid treatment, you can decide if you’d like to offer a billable receipt to your client.

The cost of manual lymphatic drainage sessions differs depending on where you live and what your competitors are charging.
We recommend researching your colleagues’ fees in your neighbourhood and deciding from there.

Be sure to brush up on any training you’ve had on human anatomy and physiology, including the nervous system.
If you don’t do that, you’ll be fine to attend the training with confidence. Your teachers can explain any terms you might need refreshing on.
PS - if you have long nails, we highly recommend cutting them.

The venue is conveniently located just a short walk (under 10 minutes) from Union Station, making it easily accessible by train or GO Transit. The subway is also just steps away.
If you’re driving, there are several paid parking lots nearby, as well as occasional street parking available on surrounding streets. We recommend arriving 15-20 minutes early to be sure you get a spot.

You bet! A 1-hour lunch break is included, and a healthy meal will be provided by Hotel Victoria. You'll have a chance to share any dietary restrictions during registration.

At the Toronto Lymphatic Academy, our foundational level 1 course is required to take any other course. However, once you complete level 1 you can take any other courses in any order you wish!
