The Living
Nervous System:

Brain, Body, and the Spiritual Science of Trauma

A two-day immersive course exploring nervous system regulation, fascia, and embodied trauma integration through an anthroposophical lens.

MARCH 28 and 29, 2026

Hotel Victoria, Toronto
10:00 - 6:00 pm

This is a two-day, in-person, experiential training from 10 AM to 6 PM each day.

Participants can expect:

  • Hands-on experiential learning

  • Brain-focused release techniques

  • Fascial and body integration practices

  • Interactive discussion and inquiry

  • Professional-level education grounded in over 30 years of clinical experience, taught by a psychotherapist, osteopath, and physiotherapist, specialized in anthroposophy

This training combines brain-focused release, fascia work, and embodied nervous system techniques for clinical integration.

Many approaches to nervous system regulation focus on vagus nerve resets or generalized calming techniques. While helpful, something essential is often overlooked: the areas of the brain where trauma and memory are first encoded, and how these patterns are held and expressed through the fascial system.

You may be working with clients who continue to feel stuck despite therapy, bodywork, breathwork, or regulation tools. Or perhaps you have experienced this yourself. This training explores the deeper connection between psyche, brain, fascia, and the nervous system so you can understand where trauma lives in the body and how to support safe, meaningful, embodied release.

What You’ll Learn

  • Release tension from key brain regions, including the prefrontal cortex, midbrain, and deeper trauma-holding centers

  • Work with the fascial system to access and safely release stored trauma patterns

  • Support parasympathetic regulation and help expand clients’ window of tolerance

  • Understand how thoughts, emotions, and memory are organized through the tissues of the body

  • Integrate brain, body, and nervous system for greater coherence and resilience

  • Apply brain-focused release techniques within your professional practice

  • Deepen your understanding of psychosomatic patterns and embodied trauma

  • Experience somatic integration rather than intellectual understanding alone

When Regulation Techniques Are Not Enough

Who It’s For

For Practitioners Ready to Go Deeper

  • Manual Osteopaths, Chiropractors and Bodyworkers

You work with fascia and structure, and want to understand how trauma patterns organize through tissue

  • Psychotherapists and Counsellors

You understand trauma cognitively and want somatic tools to support embodied integration

  • Craniosacral Therapists:

You work with subtle systems and want deeper, brain-based context

  • Functional Medicine Practitioners:

You see nervous system dysregulation, but want practical hands-on approaches

  • Somatic Therapists

You want to refine your understanding of how brain regions and fascia interact

  • Integrative Practitioners

You’re seeking trauma-informed integration beyond basic vagal tools, including those exploring anthroposophic or psychosomatic frameworks.

  • This workshop integrates brain region-specific release, fascial patterns, and anthroposophical spiritual science. It moves beyond general vagal resets into deeper trauma encoding and embodied integration.

  • Yes. This is an experiential workshop with guided practice and somatic techniques.
