About this course
Our Functional Lymphatics course is designed for practitioners who want to comprehensively support their clients in effectively assessing lymphatic blocks, strategically releasing them, and engaging in responsible superficial clearance of lymph before entering your client into deep lymph work.
Each stage of this program is set up to responsibly open up your client’s lymphatic system after extended periods of inflammation and poor health. Each step of this program is done with your client’s clothes on and is suitable for chiropractors, naturopathic doctors, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, personal trainers and practitioners working with clients experiencing chronic pain, inflammation, chronic illness and metabolic disorders.
At the Toronto Lymphatic Academy, our Level 1 Foundation MLD Training is required to take any other course. However, once you complete level 1 you can take any other courses in any order you wish!
What You’ll Learn:
20-point functional lymphatic assessment
Advanced lymphatic drainage with increased pressure to target fascial and lymphatic restrictions
How to release adhesions that contribute to chronic inflammation, pain, and fluid stagnation
The role of interstitial stasis and its impact on nervous system health and metabolic function
How fluid dynamics drive detoxification, immune function, and tissue regeneration
