Healing the Brain Begins in the Body
What if healing the brain didn’t start in the mind, but in the body?
Trauma lives in the nervous system. Left unresolved, it shapes how we think, feel, and even how our body’s fluids and lymphatic system move. That’s why body-based approaches are essential.
We’re honoured to welcome Elias Abdel Ahad, an international osteopath and trauma specialist, for a powerful 3-hour workshop in Toronto. Elias is one of only a few practitioners in Canada with advanced training in Anthroposophic Therapy—a holistic approach that integrates medicine, psychology, and spirituality. His work bridges body, mind, and spirit, offering safe, integrative ways to support trauma release and build resilience.
What You’ll Experience
In this experiential workshop, Elias will guide participants through simple yet profound practices that connect body, breath, and nervous system balance.
You’ll explore:
Brain switching and its role in regulation
The three brains and how trauma is stored in the body
Layers of the aura/energy field and their influence on health
Vagus nerve and phrenic nerve release techniques
Somatic tools for restoring breath, balance, and resilience
How trauma recovery and lymphatic flow work together
Through guided touch and energy-based exercises, you’ll experience how healing begins with listening rather than force.
Why This Workshop Matters
This workshop is designed for practitioners and individuals alike who want to understand how trauma shapes the nervous system—and how presence and energy can support release.
It’s also a powerful introduction to the upcoming 2-day intensive training on trauma release and SomaSofia therapy, making it an ideal first step for those considering deeper study.
