Why lymphatic brushing (and why now)?

Our clinical reality: more clients are arriving with inflammatory load, sleep dysregulation, digestive sluggishness, histamine reactivity, and “wired-and-tired” nervous systems. The Lymphatic Brush is a low-force, nervous-system-friendly way to mobilize superficial fluid, encourage micro-circulation, and invite the body back into parasympathetic rhythm without over-stimulating fragile systems.

Unlike harsh dry brushing or aggressive scraping, The Lymphatic Brush is designed for gentle, gliding strokes that respect pressure dynamics and fascia’s fluid architecture. The technique complements MLD and other manual therapies, providing an accessible tool for both in-clinic sessions and empowering clients with at-home maintenance.

What you’ll learn (clinically meaningful outcomes)

  • Foundations of Superficial Flow: Understand hydrodynamics, tissue pressure gradients, and why “less is more” for lymph.

  • Face + Neck Protocols: De-puffing, tone, peri-orbital care, jaw/TMJ relief strategies, pre-event glow, without irritating sensitive skin.

  • Full-Body Applications: Rhythmic sequences that pair beautifully with MLD, fascia release, and post-operative care plans.

  • Safety & Contraindications: Clear guidelines for oncology, autoimmunity, active infections, dermatologic considerations, and fragile/edematous tissues.

  • Clinical Integration: How to layer brushing into 30–90-minute services, pre/post-manual work, and between sessions to sustain gains.

  • Client Education & Self-Care: Simple home routines to reduce interstitial stasis and support consistent outcomes.

  • Documentation & Communication: Charting clarity, informed consent, and framing benefits without over-promising.

Why train with TLA

  • Drainage-first, regulation-forward: We prioritize nervous system safety and high-fidelity technique over trends or intensity.

  • Bridging science & touch: You’ll get the why behind the how, pressure dynamics, fascia-fluid interplay, and sensible progressions.

  • Mentorship & community: Ongoing knowledge-sharing and a professional peer network that supports you long after the weekend ends.

  • Career leverage: Add a sought-after, gentle modality that’s easy to implement, market, and package with existing services.

Who will benefit most

  • Practitioners working with edema, puffiness, congestion, or post-inflammatory presentations.

  • Professionals supporting digestive, hormone, and stress-related concerns where parasympathetic tone is key.

  • Post-op and scar-care practitioners seeking low-force adjuncts that respect healing timelines.

  • Estheticians and skin therapists looking for visible results without irritation.

What’s included

  • Two days of guided instruction with expert demo + hands-on practice

  • Course manual + certificate of completion

  • Access to our supportive community for ongoing Q&A and clinical dialogue

Note: Brush kits are not included in the course fee, as many practitioners already have their own. Brush sets are available for purchase in Canada here.

The weekend flow

Expect a blend of micro-lectures, live demonstrations, and coached practice. We’ll emphasize pace, touch quality, and safe progressions, with time for case questions and real-world integration. Plan for two full training days (Saturday and Sunday). Exact session times and breaks are provided in your registration confirmation.

Frequently asked

Do I need prior MLD training?
No. Prior MLD is helpful but not required. You’ll learn a complete, safe introduction to lymphatic brushing along with how to integrate it into your current approach.

Is this the same as dry brushing?
No. Technique, pressure, stroke direction, and tool design are different. The goal is to encourage lymphatic flow—not circulation or exfoliation.

Can I use this post-op?
Yes, with clinical discernment. We’ll review timing, pressure, and red flags to respect healing tissues and individual contexts.

Will I be able to teach clients at-home routines?
Yes. You’ll leave with simple, safe, self-care sequences that extend your results between visits.

Refunds & transfers?
Please see the refund/transfer policy on the registration page for specifics.
