What You Can Expect

This is a 1-day, in-person training designed to integrate the steps for Brazilian Lymphatic Drainage Massage (BLD), while supporting nervous system regulation. The day includes theory and our philosophy when it comes to offering our unique style of BLDM, with guided hands-on practice, and interactive discussion.

Participants will receive a comprehensive printed manual with photos and steps to the massage to support integration post-training. A certificate of completion will be provided at the end of the training.

Lunch free from gluten, dairy and seed oils, filtered and mineralized water will be provided, with breaks intentionally built into the day to support focus, hydration, and regulation. 

Class sizes are intentionally small to allow for personalized guidance, questions, and hands-on support from the instructors. Students will also receive access to a private mentorship group where they can ask questions and receive ongoing support. 

You can expect a learning environment that is grounded, supportive, and aligned with TLA values, where questions are welcomed, and integration is prioritized over rushing through techniques.

Who This Is For

Designed for TLA Alumni Ready to Expand Their Clinical and Aesthetic Skillset

  • TLA Level 1–trained Practitioners

  • Practitioners Supporting Clients’ Aesthetic Goals

  • No. This certification is open exclusively to TLA alumni who have completed Level 1 training. This requirement exists to preserve the integrity of nervous system regulation and metabolic safety that form the foundation of our methodology. All participants must share the same baseline training to ensure consistent, high-quality, body-honouring treatments across the board.

  • Completion of TLA Level 1 Manual Lymphatic Drainage training is required. This ensures all students are fluent in regulating the autonomic nervous system before advancing into aesthetic applications.

  • Students must bring a bikini to wear during the practical portion of the training. This allows for student privacy throughout the training.

  • Not as a standalone certification. Licensed practitioners of other modalities, such as RMTs, may be able to bill MLD through insurance. It's always best to check with your unique governing boards and/or insurance companies to double-check.

  • Yes. This is an in-person, hands-on certification with live demonstrations, guided practice, and instructor feedback. Touch-based learning is a core component of this training.

  • Yes. A certificate of completion will be provided at the end of the training.

  • Class sizes are intentionally kept small with a strong ratio of instructor to student to ensure personalized instruction, hands-on guidance, and a regulated learning environment.

About This Course

This advanced certification builds on your Level 1 foundation, teaching you how to safely layer aesthetic-based lymphatic techniques onto their superficial drainage protocols.
